Dominate Your Online Niche
ByThis would mean you are in the top three spots organically.
Search engines select the top few spots using several criteria:
Popularity. Its the chicken and the egg, but if you had incoming links bringing visitors from other sites you would have traffic. If you broadcast through Social Media with blogs and articles, you would have incoming traffic. An older domain name also lends to “Authority.”
So after the fact, the Search Engines would move you to the top as an additional reward. It also serves their purpose of offering proven sites.
Other criteria that are important are the right elements and a great keyword strategy. To get the right elements run your site through WebsiteGrader.com and see your score and evaluation.
The keyword strategy starts with selecting the right words to describe your business that are also used by people to find your services. Google ad words will give you the popularity of your keywords and Googling them, the number at the top will tell you the pages of competition. If you don’t already have incoming links, high traffic, nor broadcast your keywords through Social Media, you have to start scenario number two.
By the way, if your domain name has your key words like “high performance auto parts.com” it helps tremendously. If you have your Unique Selling Proposition, use the keywords that are used by prospects to find those services. Then use keywords to get into a niche that you can dominate considering your current online strengths. (above conversation= traffic, grade score, domain age).
Blog those keywords which gives your site better keyword use after a time than your competitors. When you appear high in the first niche you are establishing authority. If you keep broadcasting those keywords,(blogs, articles, p/r, youtube, Payperclick advertising, emails,) with media that lead back to your site, you will start showing up in niches with higher traffic.
For example, my sight freightshippingseo.com is at the top of a niche with little traffic. But after continuous broadcasting it moved into the freight and shipping niches which are the monsters for that industry. At a certain point, my keywords were more populous because of my blogs than my competition for those keywords.
